Bristol Short Film Showcase spotlights local talent

On Sunday 29th September, the Bristol Short Film Showcase at Watershed celebrated the vibrancy of the local film talent we have here in Bristol UNESCO City of Film, with a programme of new and recently made shorts from Bristol filmmakers.

The line-up included Rapture, a comedy-drama about following your own path, Beltane, a cautionary stop-motion folk-horror and Distressing Images, a psychological horror starring Michael Socha (The Gallows Pole, This is England).  Plus The Babka and Boys Like You, films from two of the city’s most prominent filmmaking talents, Michael Jenkins and Paul Holbrook.
